Fear makes you a fat… Wallet

A wallet

It is not a secret that healthy people will make doctors and the pharmaceutical companies poor. If you have decided to take the responsibility over your health, don’t be surprised you’ll find resistance, for those who see you as a wallet, healthy means you are an empty wallet. Fear on the other hand, means you are a fat wallet.

Many of our beliefs about food and health ( or anything else for that matter) is driven by other with an agenda. It is true even if we consider our parents as a major source of those beliefs.

When I was young, we never drank water, it was always some extra sweet colorful cordial. My Parent’s agenda was also part of the equation. They wanted to fit in with what everyone around did. They were looking for something cheap ( soft drinks were way more expensive and we were a full house with seven people) and cordial was an easy solution. They honestly believed they were good to us. It is important to remember that whatever they choose to do, served their need, even if they convinced themselves they were doing it for us.

If you examine this simple act of serving cordial to your children, you find out my parents did a better service to the dentists, the doctors, the pharmaceutical companies, or the cordial companies. For them, my parents were wallet and the children are wallets in making, so they used all methods to use them as money agents. The fear of being “different” in a neighborhood that used sweet, food colored drinks was the norm, was too big and they paid a high price for it. ( so did we, in the long run)

It takes courage for people to resist this campaign persuading them to part from their money and willingly give it as ransom in order to fit in. ( if you need to read this again, do it!) Don’t go far, we do that with buying fashion labels, the latest gadgets and buy big houses and fancy cars to fit in. We pay ransom in order to be accepted. Those who see us as wallets, tell us what is the price we need to pay and we believe them. They use celebrities, advertisement, social media, they tell us we are sick and must use their supplements, they sell us medication that cure one thing and causes other illnesses ( that gives them more money).

It is all a number game. Like hackers that hack into companies and then sell them an anti-hacking program. They sell us sugar, so we can buy their diabetes medication. It is a very simple math exercise.

When you want to be healthy and have a healthy weight, you are fighting against those who wish to keep you sick and overweight. Why? Because sick and overweight makes you a very fat wallet that will pay anything to achieve health. If a healthy cholesterol level is X, those who consider you a wallet, will lower the range so more people purchase statins.

I learned about using fear as a tactic over 35 years ago when I studied special education. The campaign planting fear in parents and teachers was so good that definition of ADHD became so fluid that every second person fell into the category of “need Ritalin”. It reached a point that a 3-year-old was prescribed Ritalin because he was “too active” or “too loud” or God forbid, didn’t follow orders. The parents begged for it.

In one of the schools I was consulting ( regular public school) half of the kids had ADHD. It was even statistically impossible (unless it was something in the water…). Obviously, those kids were just a way to get the department of education to open their wallet and give more funding to the school that was later used for other things than treat the ADHD. (Or even help those children). All they needed to do is plant fear in the department of education’s agenda about adequacy. They paid it willingly.

Treating people as wallets is very common and it is very hard to resist the ideas that we are sick and inadequate and need to pay a “fee” to be part of our society.

The push towards using anti-depressant was so strong that many people consider themselves depressed even if what they have experienced was just a nasty day.

When I discovered that my mum, who had Alzheimer for 18 years ( no more!) was turning aggressive about 40 minutes after she was taking anti-depressant and took her off it, some people said to me “ it can’t be. Everyone is taking anti-depressant”, even though it was a common side effect of the medication ( by the way, when I took her off it, the aggression disappeared within two days). One of my family member said to me “You are just against medication” and I said “I’m against what doesn’t work”. She was taking anti-depressant for 18 month and she was only deteriorating. For those who were selling anti-depressant, my mother was just a wallet. To me, she was the mother I had to see disappearing and say goodbye to, when she was still alive.

We think that if the majority is accepting the narrative, it must be true. It is not!

If most of them are afraid, do I need to be afraid to in order to fit in?

It was scary to find out that FDA refused to accept Stevia as a replacement to Saccharine for Diabetes, because the saccharine company representatives were part of the FDA committee. When I watched the series “Dopesick”, I realized how much of a wallet I was and how easy it was to keep me sick so I keep paying ransom in order to stay alive.

After the initial panic, I realized that throughout my life, there were always angles that their real agenda was to heal. I met doctors that didn’t see themselves as agents of the pharmaceutical companies but as healers. I met people that their agenda was to help children with challenges and fix the problem and not to just keep those children in the system.

There are always people that do not see you as a wallet and consider their profession as a calling. Find them! Surround yourself with such people! They will help you see yourself more than just a wallet. They will help you question the narrative that is trying to instill fear in you, keep you in the dark and sell you something.

Don’t argue with your success. If it works for you, great! If it doesn’t work for you, reject it! And try something else.
Health is your right, you don’t need to buy it or pay a “fee” to own it. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. Health is within you. Let go of fear and find it. Every fat person will tell you that there is a slim person inside who is trying to come out. Treating yourself as a wallet means you will allow the slim, healthy person come to life only after you pay the price. Don’t accept the narrative!

It is perfectly Ok for others to try to sell you something but when they plant fear in your mind in order to sell you something, be careful! Fear makes you a fat wallet.

Good luck with your quest to be awake and question what you are buying. Whatever you do, don’t buy fear.
Make your day a great day!
