Though my personal life goes from one success to another, I feel surrounded by horror stories of people dying, injured, due to medication, side effects, direct effect, or allergy to medication, mistakes, from immunizations, from treatments or wrong diagnosis, from telling people to wait or cut organs just because the numbers on the test were wrong… as a prevention.
It sounds great, no?! prevention.
Let’s prevent breast cancer by cutting breast.
let’s prevent thyroid problem with cutting the thyroid.
let’s prevent brain cancer by cutting the brain.
What about healing?
At first, I thought I was attracting those stories to me because I’m trying to protect my personal point of view on medication. ( 35 years of successfully treating children and grownups with learning difficulties and emotional challenges without medication can do that to you) I told myself that maybe it is because I’m sensitive to it now because my own brother is going through a life-threatening medical challenge as a result of the medication when the original problem was not life threatening at all.
After talking to other people, I realized it wasn’t me. The number of stories increased so much because we are bombarded by information and misinformation on the internet, and we can’t sift true from false and our dependency on others increases. Overload of information can do that to you. It was researched and proved, that it turns on the “doubt” button and t destroys our ability to access critical thinking.
A sickness is a way for the body to Heal!
Our body has an immune system. Think of it as a security system and every time the security system finds an intruder, we kill the… security system!
For example, our body increases the temperature ( Fever) to fight an intruder in order to save us, and we take medication to kill the messenger.
We can help our body fight the intruders with fasting, with healthy, whole food, cold showers, plenty of fluid, Ice baths but there is absolutely no sense in preventing the body from doing its job.
Sadly, too many of the treatment we are offered kill the security system but not the intruder.
I was so overwhelmed with horror stories that in order to survive, I shifted to looking for a solution. I believe in “seek and you shall find” and I found it.
The power of personal stories
When I went back to my success health stories, I realized that there was someone there that shared with me a personal story that offered a different perspective. It triggered in my mind a new option. There is a lot of freedom in having options, if you choose to explore them.
The answer to our prayers is: Personal stories.
The best way to sift the information is to hear a personal story of success from someone you know and or trust. When the person has no conflict of interests but to share how he, his friend, his family member, a person he knew managed to heal, trust becomes part of your story of healing. It can be a story about something they did naturally or with the power of the mind, with the help of a therapist or a doctor…
Every person who healed, considers it a gift, and feels a duty to share it with the rest of the world.
Let’s use it to spread the word.
over 17 years ago, one my clients told me he was cured by a naturopath in the Sunshine Coast from MS. Shocked, after losing a very dear aunt to MS,I knew it was too late for her, but I immediately took the number of that naturopath and gave it to over 70 people so far. ( some I don’t even know what they did with it and some of them shared with me their cure story)
When someone shares a story with you, it never means that if you do the same thing you’ll have the exact success, but it sure means that it might or that you might be able to help someone, who knows someone, who knows someone… that could potentially heal from it.
Also, if you hear it from one person and then another person, you won’t say “I didn’t think Type 2 Diabetes can be managed without medication”. It can be, thousands of people around the world did!
if you hear from five people who healed in a specific way, you’ll consider it as an option. I have the rule of three. If I have heard it from three totally different sources, I need to check it! ( I say the universe has spoken. Three people is a sign. I need to explore it)
Sharing personal stories of success or grief are a duty we have to our society. we don’t need to tell people what to do, tell them it’ll happen to them the exact same way or that we know what is good for them, we only share one, single, experience with grace, respect, and acceptance. They can do whatever they want with it. Regardless, You now have brownie points for your “Karma” shield.
I know that some people are too shy to share their own stories because they think it only happened to them and it means nothing at all but it does. I learned so many things from other people’s personal stories. I learned that there is another option. It is all we need to explore one more option.
Every one of us is part of this revolution. We are all messengers of health and livelihood. Take care of yourself, take care of loved ones, share your stories, your knowledge, your experience, your insights, your “grandma healing recipes… Be brave in sharing one story and one more story because every person you have helped, directly or indirectly, is a blessing.
When you share your personal stories, you give people the gift of personal knowledge instead of allowing others to fall into the trap of using the “wisdom” of those who have an invested interest to keep you sick.
Wishing you lots of stories to share
