Butter makes your health Better

When I was introduced to this lifestyle ( through my older sister) she used to say to me, eat butter and butter and more butter.
I was a butter person for over 25 years ( after I learned the horrors of eating margarine – OMG, I ate it until I was 25 years old) but never thought that I should eat butter and butter on everything.
When we were kids in the neighborhood and we all had dogs, I remember everyone saying, if you want your dog to have a shiny hair, give it butter, butter and more butter.
I was good with butter but never ate lots.
My sister said that the more butter I eat, the more weight I’ll lose.
A while ago, I was invited to a friends’ house. This friend had Lupus for years and 10 years prior to my visit, she was dying from it. Yes, acutally dying. Suddenly she recovered and no one knew why.
Before we went to her for dinner, she called and asked me if I have any dietary requirement. I said I’m on keto but I’ll eat anything. she said all good.
When we came for dinner, she has made Lasagna and separated the meat from the pasta for me. I said thank you for doing it and she said to me.
“Ronit, don’t you know how I recovered from my Lupus?” (Honestly, I didn’t know you ever recover from Lupus) “My Naturopath told me to eat eggs and butter. so I ate for several months, only eggs and butter. I would fry my eggs in butter and top it up with more butter, my eggs would swim in butter. I ate about 200 grams of butter a day until I recovered”
OMG, 200 grams????????????????? that’s actually a tub of butter! Every day!
When my mother came to Australia about six years ago to heal (from all sorts of illnesses – Fibromyalgia, diabetes, sweating at night like a pig, swollen legs, memory loss…) for five weeks she ate butter instead of Margarine ( we just don’t have that poison at home).. I said to her, eat as much butter as you like.
Every time she ate it she said she loves it but it would clog her arteries. “It is dangerous to eat so much” she said. I told her that I lost 17 kg eating cream and butter, camembert and fat yellow cheeses so I didn’t think it was correct. I also told her about my friends’ Lupus healing story.
Since my mum loved lamb and where she came from it was EXPENSIVE, we had lamb almost every other day so she was mostly on a low carb and high protein and high fat eating plan.
Five weeks later mum left Australia with no medications, no diabetes, no fibromyalgia, no sweats at night, no swollen legs ( we actually did other things as well) no pain,… all gone but the most relevant thing for us was that she lost 5 kg.
I don’t know about you and travel, we usually gain weight not lose weight.
She lost 5 kg in 5 weeks and she ate more butter, more fat, more lamb then she would have in the 5 years prior combined.
My granddaughter who is 6 years old has a video dipping food in Nutella and saying ” Chocolate makes everything better” ( which I totally agree, especially Nutella) and I am here to say if you want to be healthier, “Butter makes everything better”
Top up your butter intake. ( from my research most butters sold in Australia are grass fed) It”ll make your health better!”
If you are like dogs, it sure will make your hair shinier.
Happy butter eating
