If you have been following us in the last two weeks you know that we are in our pre-set phase, when we escort people in the transition towards healthy eating with the addition of fasting.
The reason we think pre- reset is important is because when we start our fasting next week, if you are not ready, it’ll be hard! Big time hard.
We want you to succeed, not to fail!
Reaching your happy weight and optimal health is like climbing a high mountain. No one just get up one morning and says “I’m ready for 4 hours hike” they have to be prepared for it.
In our case, we have been walking with crutches for a long time (sugar and carbs to maintain our energy) and we can’t really climb this mountain with crutches.
Some of us are on wheelchairs, some of us use one crutch in each hand, some use only one and some of us just in pain while walking. Our starting point is different, but we wall want to get to the top and enjoy the ride.
We must prepare for it.
Let me tell you, when you get to your peak health, the view from the top is breathtaking and you wouldn’t want to leave that place.
Many people on this low carb, fasting health journey, love this place so much they have the confident they know what to do. They know they did it before, they know they can do it again.
Confidence is a good feeling; we want you to experience it.
We are confident that if you follow our program, you’ll be able to get rid of your crutches and climb high. (You can register to our one-day face to face program on the 18th of June, register to our online program starting on 26th of July or just follow us)
If you are struggling with your weight or health, you have to use crutches. There is no other way. People use food, alcohol, medications, supplements, media distractions to cope and they only make their body heavier, so they depend more and more on their crunches to survive.
Don’t get me wrong, we all have to cope with challenges, the emotional and physical challenges, we just need to find support that gives us strength and does not create dependency.
Carbs will create dependency. Fat will help get rid of the carb crutch.
A cake will create dependency when I’m frustrated. Creating something (any form of artistic outlet) will help get rid of the frustration.
Purchasing processed food will create dependency when I don’t have time. Planning will give me more time.
Watch this space. Our team in Whole food Revolution gives many strategies to lower the dependency on those crutches and prepare you for the journey of your life.
Don’t be tempted to reach the top before you focus on getting rid of your crutches and it took you a while to “gain” this disability, take into consideration it’ll take time for your body to trust you can walk…on your own.
On a positive note, we can tell you for sure that it won’t take as much time as it took you to gain that weight.
Preparation is the process of getting rid of your crutches.
Find what you use as a crutch and consider whether it is creating dependency or supportive and work towards getting rid of the crutches.
At first, after getting rid of them, you might hike slowly but over time, you’ll run up the hill.
Prepare yourself for the run of your life.
Make your day a great day!
